You'll notice two options under your Styles tab called "linkroll" and "contentroll." These will create a list of all your links and content pages (created from the Content tab). To use these on any default template, simply type in under linkroll: <!--link--><br/> and <!--content--><br/> for the contentroll. This will create a list of links for you ...

Regarding payment for accounts:
If you cannot use PayPal, you may use any method you'd like that would work over snailmail. International money orders or checks will be accepted, granted I can accept them in the US.

Roy, just wondering, has the bonus for paid account ran out yet? I was getting one last night but there was an insufficient money in my bank account (argh). Transferring it right now but it might take a while T__T;;

Hi, I'd like to send out an international money order, but I need details of payment i.e. the address of which to send it to as well as the name of the person I send it to (which has to be printed as per written in the bank account details to be deposited into). I hope I'm making sense.

I don't like the horizontal scrolling on the tagboard... :(
Comment posted on September 16th, 2003 at 09:57 PM
You'll have to delete the post that caused it. I wonder if there's a way to edit the tagboard comments yet. Hmm...

No... I don't think it's just my tagboard with the horizontal scrolling... It seems that other people has the same horizontal scrolling too... Anyway, I just figured what the problem was when I viewed the iframe's source code, but can't seem to edit the tagboard's HTML. It's the CSS for the body tag, and I don't think the overflow-x:hidden; and overflow-y:scroll; is neccessary 'cause it makes the tagboard has 2 vertical scollbars and a horizontal scrollbar.

Actually that was a result of me trying to fix the horizontal scrollbar problem. It's a bug that I'm aware of and will try to fix up :)

Oh, okay. How about.. adding scrolling=no in the inline frame tag, then put the contents in tagboard.php in a div layer, i.e.: <div style="position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:162px; height:140px; margin:0; overflow-y:scroll; overflow-x:hidden;> instead? The horizontal scrolling disappeared when I tried that...

I had a question about the time. I live in EST time and it says it's -5 hours but when I set it up on here, it's always one hour back. So when I post at 10:45pm, it shows as 9:45pm. I ended up just changing my settings to -4 hours *shrugs*

I did want to mention that the smilies have been broken for me for two days. For some reason I get an "Error on the page" and the window doesn't pop up. :)

if you live on the east coast, you're living in EDT time, not EST. EDT is -4, EST is -5. GMT doens't take into account daylights saving, so depending where you live, your time will change from -4 to -5.

Thanks for the explanation. :) I went and looked at the Greenwich Mean Time website just to confirm. Well, I guess I will have to change over again in Oct. then since I will be back to -5 hours. Is there any way to make an option instead of having to switch it over manually?

Oh, and smilies are still spatzing out. Good thing that i know :) and :P

No, no way of automating yet ... fixed the smilies.

My date is wrong for some reason. D: It's supposed to be the 16, though the date says it's 17. I submitted (edited) today, 16. And, so .. this doesn't make much sense to me. : Oh, I have my date correctly configured as well. +8 hours or whatever. I tried to manually change the date, so I checked the 'check here to manually change date' box, but it won't allow me to change it. So, yeah. I think you have a bug with the changing manual dates thing.

Oh, I'm sorry! It was my fault, I had it setup to my time but it was AM so I never realized that I had it to the wrong choice. >.!

On your custom template you need:

&lt;meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /&gt; after your &lt;head&gt; (which i just realized you're missing)

your browser isn't recognizing what you input as valid unicode.
Comment posted on September 16th, 2003 at 02:21 PM
wait.. but the tagboard is in an iframe on a different page tho?!?
Comment posted on September 16th, 2003 at 02:24 PM
check out my /~roy/ tagboard... i just added chinese to my tagboard (i have no idea what it says, though ;))
Comment posted on September 16th, 2003 at 02:23 PM
Yes, but the input text fiel is still within your main page; the output page is an iframe.

since the main page doesn't have a valid content-type, the browser has now of knowing what you type is chinese ... as far as it's concerned, it could be persian or latin. so it converts it to trash (which is wrong).
