New Entry Engine
There is now a new entry engine in place; this should make no difference in aesthetics; this new engine was written for performance's sake.
We're trying to rewrite a lot of the core code so that the site doesn't hit the database as much but relies more on memory... let's hope it works
Please let us know if you find any problems with it (anything regarding entry output or display on any pages containing entries).
Note that we've temporarily disabled the "Jump to Date" feature that used to be found on your archives page.
Thanks!

There's no ability yet to delete categories if you're not a paid member... :/ Sorries.

But some new features in the works should help with this problem :)

1.) Do you do password once for all "password protected entry" or is there an individual password for each entry?
1b.) If the former, then you're just adding another security layer on top of "friends-only" whose only purpose would be for non-Tabulas members to view more "secure posts." (Side question: How do you prevent the password from being shared?)
1c.) if the latter, then how do you remember all the passwords?
In all reality, I would probably go with a more refined version of the "friends-only" feautre where you could set up "user groups" to manage privacy levels before hitting up password-protected entries...

-I've backed up my entries but any "&" chars in the >title< tags don't parse properly as well as stray < and > characters
-There probably isn't a very elegant fix to this other than doing a find & replace for the "&" char in the title and changing it to "and" or something... probably anything is better than the XML being unwellformed.
-then again... this could just be an XML parser implementation issue (I'm using the MSIE parser & MS Infopath parser)... I'm not sure what the W3C standard says about this.

and perhaps the chars can just be changed to be their formal code (i forget what its called... but how "&" is "&", etc. thats actually probably the best solution now that i think about it.

The alternative is to create your own style, but minimalist works fine for me.
