I wanted to apologize for delays in responding to comments and in general the lack of support and feature developments ... this will change shortly, but please bear with me

I've a problem with the time settings for the shared Journal. It seems that I have no control over it. I can't change it to my local time.

Hmm.. now I hate burdening this entry with a question after my first post, but if someone can answer it I'd be very grateful.

Seems that the shared journal doesn't allow any other template than Charmelion. Is this something that will be changed once the new Shared Journal features I've heard about are installed, or is it always going to be this way?

How can i get to avoid a person who's posting nonsense at my tagboard? I wanted to ban him but i can't 'cause the IP address shown in the tagboard moderation has a wildcard, which is... can be only used in a paid feature. Anyways, try going to my Tabulas to see what i mean. Read my tagboard, read below it. A person's pretending to be me by using my nick (but not logged in) and floods posts at my tagboard.

Can you do something with it? I have his IP address at my tabulas. I pinned a topic for it.

I have inserted a thumbnail pic on a Content Page entitled "test". Below the pic, I have inserted a table with with a thumbnail. The table doesn't appear immediately below the first thumbnail pic, though I typed the code right below it. How can I correct this? Thanks

You've created a table with two columns. If you're trying to get the text to come out below the image, then you'll need to arrange for another creation of a table row.

I don't want the text to come after the table. I just don't want the table so far down the page. How do I get rid of the gap between the text and the table? I did not put in line spaces.

Beta accounts were granted to early adopters and to the first few people who paid for accounts.

happy thanksgiving and i just wanted to ask if there's anything you can do about someone abusing tabulas as a means of harrassment. you see, my ex boyfriend is CRAZY. he's mad bitter and all that, and he's talking all this smack on his tabulas just to upset me because a lot of my friends read his tabulas. i dont' really know what to do....please help?

hi tabulas! thank you for the help on my blog when it went haywire and all...my friend's blog is acting strange again...when i go to the url of her blog[http://www.tabulas.com/~mfujiko] the IE says that "there are no entries for this time period" can you please help her??? thank you

I'm glad that Tabulas has made an effort to implement threaded commenting (by placing replies to comments under their respective comments), but the feature is still flawed because there's no indentation to denote a thread, meaning that conversations are still somewhat confusing to follow. So far, the only major journaling site I've found that allows for clear threaded commenting is LiveJournal. Is there a chance that this feature might be improved in the future? Thanks.

First of all, this is a feature, not a flaw :)

Originally we had indentations, but this was deemed to be too design-specific; so many of the templates utilized by Tabulas would not fit in well with 'threaded' comments (try threading comments on this particular template beyond 3 replies and you can imagine the problem).

With that said, the next step we do plan on taking within the next millennia is to allow for customization of your comments page, where you will be able to input HTML before/after comments (so you can indent them yourselfs).

Hi, I would just like to ask how I can keep out a user from viewing my tabulas, or commenting or using the tagboard. This one person is constantly writing **** there, and I don't know how to stop it besides deleting his MILLIONS of rude messages.

Two things: 1) I still don't have the 2 pictures I uploaded. What happened to them? 2) How can I change the title banner on my site so I can put in a logo?

I didn't assign them to an album. But, my picture count does show 2 more pictures posted so they've got to be somewhere. Any ideas?

I took a good look at the pictures, and I can't find them in the system at all.

To add a logo to your page, you will have to manually edit your HTML by creating a template.

hm i dunno if someone asked this before but.. why is it that the links doesn't show up in a krabby template... even though there's a <br/> at the linkrolling? just wondering coz a friend of mine's having a problem and she's on krabby template.. thanks :)

Is there any way to change the colors of a shared journal? I've looked all around the control panel and tried the moderate shared journal... The color changes just affect my journal, not the shared journal.

i have a problem I use a site with the Tabulas blogring wich is an excellent feature. it is moderated and i allowed access to several people but there is a problem with this feature.
one of the users is posting alot of swearing, and sexual content and I have no way of removing them
from the Bloring. and I think I should be able to delete rude users
because of this I have to redo the whole blogring with a new one
please make this avail were the creator of a blogring should be able to delete rude users..

Oh and I tried banning their tabulas user name wich is dig_temp2
and thier IP address and they still had access to posting on my bloggring wich is hoover.
that dint work
they still posted on my blogring.

Banning a user bans them from your personal journal, not from shared journals.

mm.. as I am brand new, I can honestly say that I think everyone can bear with the slight delays.

Oh, and as a quick compliment, this has to be the best journaling site I've seen well.. ever. Being a LiveJournal user since 2001, it's quite a happy and refreshing change for me.. so yes, much kudos.

howcome some charmander styles have tagboards and some don't?

how do you get on in your tabulas?

does it require a huge amount of skill with html, or can people with a basic knowledge of it figure it out, too?

help, i really want one...

Tagboards are only enabled if you've set that option. To enable your tagboard, go to your admin's panel, then go to Plugins, then go to Tagboard.

You probably have set 0 entries to display on your journal; go to your styles page and see how many entries you've set to display.

If you're the last member and you leave, the shared journal becomes deleted. There is no other way of 'deleting' shared journals.

I don't know if anyone already reported this bug, but today as I was trying to edit a post, the "Music Of The Moment" / Artist input field converted the artist name to lower case.

It happened several times when I tried to edit the post...

To get a tagboard on your journal go to your control panel, then select the plug-ins tab, and click on the tagboard link then modify it to your liking from there.

rocky, if you want you can tweak it with CSS

for example, here's your entry title format in HTML:
<h2></h2>

and here's your CSS for that
h2
{
padding-left: 15px;
background: url(pic.jpg) top left;
}

you can change the padding, according to your pic size. ;)

I'd like to have a logo. I've learned a tiny bit of HTML but can't figure out how to replace the whole title bar itself. So, I thought that if I could insert an image I could accomplish my goal of having a logo. Well, can you explain how I could replace the title bar instead?

You know how users can customize a template? (for instance, see http://www.tabulas.com/~xmissxthangx/ ) and she's a free user... how does she do all that templating? I'm pretty bad with that kind of thing, but I'd like to customize my journal further than just colors, can anyone help me? Comment back in here with a reply or on my tabulas somewhere.

Using the attach function will only append them to the end. If you have already uploaded the image to your gallery and have the image ID handy, you can type in [img:ID#] into your entry.
