Shared Journals == Community
We've started to reference Shared Journals as "Communities."
We've brought back the display portion of Communities (you can now see your community page again) ... but note the new URL schema. You now find your communities at http://www.tabulas.com/community/community_name
We've also revamped the "view members" and "info" pages.
We're working on the administrative portions of the site right now, but we'll reveal some plans that we're doing.
There will be better control for moderators; you will be actively able to kick out members and remove entries from communities. However, we're limiting this power to free users.
Free users will only be able to be the moderator of one journal and will only be able to kick out members if the member is within the last 10% of the full membership. So if 10 people are in a community, a free user moderator will only be able to kick a person out if they were the last person to join.
Free user moderators will also only be able to remove entries if they are within the last 10% of all entries posted to the community. So if 100 entries have been posted to a community, the free user moderator will only be able to manage the last 10 entries.
Free user moderators will also not be able to create new templates for communities but use the preset templates.
Non-free users will be able to have full moderation access to communities, as well as the ability to create templates and such. They will also be able to moderate up to 250 communities.

Check out http://www.tabulas.com/gallery/fullsized/4265_Lc8D2.jpg
(change the attach folder to fullsized ...)
:o
(there's still a slight bit of distortion, and i'm not sure where that arises from since the fullsized folder are the images taken raw from upload ...)

But I'm pretty sure it's just too much for your browser to handle; I am working on a new version of the colorselector that should help alleviate those problems in the future.

I did noticed a link missing... if you go to http://www.tabulas.com/community/copycam/members.html, at the bottom, where it says 'To join this community, click here." there's no link to join. :)
And also, on the top header, it says "add as friend" but there is no user variable to add.
I'm not being picky. :) I just wanted to let you know.

But.. how the hell did my info get all changed.. I never changed it and I'm the only one who uses this computer!
tabulas
Are you sure no one else uses your computer?

I cannot simply troubleshoot problem when you say, "I got access to somebody else's journal." I need to know so I can track down the problem.

As for your second question, if you want to change usernames, you should not be signin gup new accounts, but using the "change username" feature.
