Here is my commitment to you: I will spend the next few days trying to allow for full imports of your old color schemes as well as all the old templates. I've already begun adding the old templates to the default list (Charmander is back, I'm working on Jigglypuff now). I will also try to import all your old color schemes so nothing is lost. Please note that the old color selector is not gone, it's just temporarily disabled.
I didn't know the changes would affect these people in so many ways... please stick with me the next few days and everything will be A-OK.

Edit: Smilies are back and working. The displaying of smilies as well as adding them into your journal should both be working 100%. Please let me know if there are issues.

Look, forget the fact that you created a person just to make it seem like your complaints seemed valid. The issue is that you were completely disrespectful in your demeanor. This has nothing to do with your "opinions." No one is criticizing you for you *not* liking the upgrades.
I'm aware that this upgrade has not been popular for some people, and I respect that. But there is absolutely no reason to act the way you did (all caps, and very demanding).
Please learn some manners in the future. And please do not lie about "not knowing somebody." Especially when your IP addresses match.

Um, can I make a suggestion?^^ When adding an entry, I think the usericon should have "default" as the first state in the pulldown menu, instead of none. This way, if we forget to select an icon, the default icon will be added to the entry (just like in the 1st version).
I know you're working on your own (I just found out, though ^^;)and you probably have gazillion other lines of code to edit, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.^^

I am not here to insult jopay but I'd like to say that her comment has been rude. Sure, she has the right to give comments but I find that her comments were out of line. Not just her comment to roy, but her comments to others as well. There isnt any need for swearing and most especially, generalizing.. Let me give this to you in the simplest way I can. I'm not going to stoop down to a low level and start cursing or being immature so here's what I've got to say. No, i'm not insulting her but I am not on her side either. have you read what jopay was saying? if you did, then read it again, really, read her 'complaints' and see who was being 'unprofessional' (I doubt the term would apply here). people are getting annoyed by her rudeness and overreaction. not to mention her swearing, foul speech and disrespect to other users. she can't impose herself or her rights over anybody, like telling someone to shut up. and by the way, she's got a nerve talking about rights when she's already violating other people's rights herself. and she acts as if she owns tabulas and roy's her employee. it's like shoving everybody off a queue just to get in front of the line. now don't you think that's rude? somebody here said it right; if she or anybody else for that matter does'nt like how roy runs tabulas, then let her do us all a favor and bring her rude manners somwhere else, like other blog sites, or better yet, host her own blog.
and, oh yeah, to quote someone here, using tabulas is not a right, it's a privilege. rant about service when you have paid for that service. roy is doing this for all of us. he did what he thought was best to make blogging here easier for everybody, even for free account users. so instead of giving him rude remarks, how about trying to thank him for hosting our sites for FREE and improving the features?
besides, I would have sympathized jopay.. if only she lost a really good layout. she only lost color schemes, for crying out loud... that does'nt warrant swearing and disrespect to other people, much less to the guy that hosts her site for free...

There are quite a few nits to be picked, however.
1. Entry comments are not in the jurisdiction of the custom template. Have you added a new field for it?
2. Friends list comments have no account names attached to them.
Hoping to get these problems fixed (if they are problems XD).
And hey, I like the new CP.

Yeah, one of the last missing templating features is the comment templating. You currently do not have control over that.
