Referrals

Starting sometime next week, I will begin to offer rewards for users who refer their friends. If you refer 6 of your friends to Tabulas* you will be granted a free year-long account to Tabulas.

However, each set of referrals will be carefully checked; I require each of your friends to USE Tabulas for at least a week; referring 6 blank users and having them do nothing with their Tabulas accounts will not count.

These referrals will also be applied retroactively; if any of your friends listed your username when registering in the past, I will use that as a valid referral.

I will post more information on this next week, but begin referring your friends to Tabulas, and be sure they put your username in the referral box! And remember, they have to USE Tabulas; simply registering for an account won't do

New users or ^paying users? I mean I know you'd prefer paying.. but usually they need to test the waters before they fork $ over.

Here's another quick question: Is there a way to browse the entire list of users? Other journal sites have this ablity and it's a great way to find like minded (or apposing minded...) people for interest sake.

I like the new tabulas...Of course we all find something a little odd with it after using the other version. So, here's my odd:

The downloading images aspect of the tabulas 1.0 was easier for (Computer luddite.) to use. And get the image to expand to normal size if it was an attachment to an entry. new way seems ass backwards and when I want to look at it expanded it tells me it's not on this server. I can only look at it (and I guess others can only...) expanded when I go into albums.

but do the referrals made previously count?

I've referred penelope_024 (my sister), tropangpauso (my group blog).

Do that count as well? And I think they put my name monique or blossom_017. Please let them count. :)

And also I created an account before, it's music_html (a music code source blog) and I think I placed there blossom_017.

Do all the 3 accounts above add as well?

And I also referred dude_aprille and ikeorganus to tabulas. they're my close friends and because I started using tabulas they used them too. And also sarskoi. I just don't know if they placed blossom_017 in the referral box.

Please, let them count. :)

Those would not count Blossom because that would be a easy way for people to take. I could go and create six accounts and say I got six, but really I put no effort into it. Six -Totally- different people would be the best thing to do.

*sad* the past registrants were not credited. but that's ok.

haha. i even had dprincesswanabe as a referral. because she wants me to make a template for her but i convinced her to join tabulas first so that i can make her one. hehe. :)

P.S. It seems like I referred a lot but really, I'm the partly the reason why they're blogging here in tabulas. Well, I was the first one among my friends to really use tabulas and that was a year ago.

Since I've been talking a lot about blogs and stuff and meeting friends here they've joined too. Well, I really advertised tabulas then. teehee.

lolz. sounds like I really am desperate for a paid account. haha.

Roy, will there be a way in the control panel for us to track which of out referrers signed up? Sorry if I´m rushing questions here, just wondering how we´ll get to know about it once we get it. :p

There's been a referral box from close to day one. It's the last box when you register.

wow 6 referrals = 1 year? I referred a few people to Tabulas but I don't know if they put my name in the referrals box :/ dangit. And like what rad says, what if you made new journals with your old one as a referral?

Same with me, I have 2 Tabulas accounts. But I don´t think Roy will be able to track that, unless there´s a way to tie your accounts somehow...

I made a couple other journals, just for me, but I put my name (rad) in the referral box. Since I already have a paid account(Iloveyou) and since I don't think referring yourself should really count, what's going to happen there?

It´s not complicated. :p Read it again, maybe...

The ads are necessary to help Roy pay for the expenses, if you want your ads remove you should buy yourself a paid account. ;-)
