Deletion queue and unused usernames

Yesterday I cleared out the deletion queue of user accounts, and I also started clearing out usernames that were unverified; so if there's been a username that's been taken by an unverified account, it should now be available!

I will be more consistent in the deleting of acccounts as well as clearing out unverified accounts - I'm aiming to run this every two weeks.

tabulas has turned on comment autolocking after 2 days.

This seems to be some kind of epidemic now doesn't it? For I also have the same problem with my gallery and icons not showing up when I changed my old screen name, depression_box to remedy.

hi roy i'm also having the same problem as veronica and pauerish had. my usericon won't show and i can't seem to use my gallery.

hi! happy new year!
I have the same prob as veronca. After i changed my usernick, all off my user icons and pictures started not to show up. my previous usernick was ~pauer.

eh, what about the blogs that have been ditched or haven't been used at all (i.e. no entries). I can think of three off the top of my head and are blank/deserted

Some people have blank Tabulas so they can view their friends-only friends' journals. As long as they verify their account, I do not delete accounts.

What about if they haven't logged in a specific period of time (let's say 4 months?) AND their journals are blank AND they have no friends other than the tabulas account? Then wouldn't it make sense to delete those accounts so that more usernames can be available?
