By popular demand, setting your own timezone now works. This took a while because we had to redo a bunch of the way the site works. Actually, the final solution for one of our problems isn't really satisfactory (it's not flexible), but we'll figure out a solution for that later (it involves the way the date formats on an entry layout [e.g. the Krabby layout displays images]).

In any case, your time settings will override time settings on your FRIENDS entries. Meaning that if someone writes an entry at 6am local time, and it's actually 7pm your time, your friends page will display it as being 7pm. However, on your friends actual Tabulas it'll show it as being 6am local time there.

More features forthcoming as soon as I can get unlazy. Smilies, anyone?

Oh, one more thing. The tagboard is still in EST. Maybe the tagboard time could follow the one set in the preferences? It's a bit funny to have my posts in my local time and then have the tagboard messages in EST time..

ehm.... I think GMT is set wrong. I'm GMT-8 (pacific time) but I had to pick GMT-7 to correspond with "my current time is X"

Are you sure? GMT time seems to match the time on http://greenwichmeantime.com/

Hey I think it's pretty good so far. No bugs yet. Only that for local timezones, when I try to edit the time manually, it will revert to 1 Jan 1970, 8am. Is there anyway to prevent that from happening?

Plus just a couple of suggestions, if you don't mind: Could the comments be in pop-up form as well and also allow guests to comment. If I'm not wrong, only users can sign in and comment. Thanks. And keep up the good work!

We've implemented the anonymous commenting, but pop-up commenting could be some time off...
