For about half an hour today, some entries were displaying [break=] as the whole entry. This was quite troublesome - I could not reproduce that effect in any of my journals ...

In any case, it *should* now be fixed.

How do you create a style sheet to change colors? My friend says you can just change it on the stylesheet page, but mine says I must create a palette. How do I change the colors, because I'm getting really confused.

Yes, create a palette = create a color scheme.

Just try out the features if you don't know ... they're all pretty easy to figure out ;)

Sorry to be obtuse, but it is the features that confuse me. When I go to the page to create a color palette, the only choice I am offered is 'light default' under 'select a file' and a space for 'palette name'. There's nothing else, so must I upload the stylesheet from my computer? If I have to do that, how do I make one in the first place.

Just try creating a palette and see what happens. No matter what you do, you cannot screw your Tabulas beyond comprehension, so just explore :)

some questions about shared journals:

i) will MODs be able to delete members from them?
ii) is there a way to post only to a shared journal and still see the entry when you comment? (currently you're not able to)
iii) will they have an archive function like regular journals do?

eventually:
yes
yes (should work now?)
yes

shared journals is not even being developed right now. the features right now are 'placeholder' until i can get other things ironed out. i'll be expanding shared journals immensely in the future.

Just a query.. Are Bete testers the same as the ones who paid for their Beta accounts? If they're the same, do beta testers get the 500 image limit too? Asking cos my control panel says I only have a 150 image limit.. Thanks :)

Comment posted on October 2nd, 2003 at 11:16 PM
Yes, you can only break once. Maybe I'll add the ability to break more than once later on :)

I just had a thought. The reason javascript had been disabled in LJ was that it could be used maliciously to get people's passwords. Is there the possibility of this problem on Tabulas, or is the login system of Tabulas different so that it's not an issue (since I know some other blogging sites also allow javascript).

If I'm not mistaken, IE has fixed this security hole (http://www.tek271.com/articles/hackCookie/ie_cookie_hack.html) ?

Oh, is that how it was done? Can't seem to patch though. It thinks I don't have IE6 installed for some reason. Good thing I use Mozilla anyway.
