Well, I kept mine always at -8GMT because switching it around seems to also change the timestamps of some stuff.

Implementing something to change time automatically would actually be kinda complicated I think. For example, in New Zealand we change to summer time and back again at totally different times of the year than the rest of the world. So it's not something that tabulas would be able to do on just two days, they'd need to find out the full list of who changes and when then get things to flip over and blah blah.

Whereas those of us who change should be aware of it anyway, know when it happens and be able to go round fixing it ourselves. It only takes a second after all.

However the reminder was nice :)

I have no clue who is in EST and observes DST or not ... just do it twice a year, you lazy punks :P
