Database Problems
We've been having database issues all day so we took the database down for a bit to work on it; it seems that the database had gotten corrupted from high usage... we repaired the database and just brought it back up.
We are carefully monitoring the situation and we hope that there are no more problems.
Again, we're horribly sorry for the downtime.

I have another daft question to ask. I have chosen a Pikachu template, this means that on the right of the page I have two main sections marked in bold: NAVIGATION and SHARED JOURNALS. Now, do I have to modify the template in order to add other sections below them? What I mean is ...if I want to add the section LATEST NEWS do I have to have some html knowledge so that I modify the template?
Thanks again

I keep trying to visit my friend's journal but nothing comes up, just a blank page with her background colour and I was wondering, is it just my computer or something else?
her site is-

I'm a teacher wanting to allow students to write their blogs so that peer students from abroad can interact with them and respomd, maybe through the comment feature.
If I understand it correctly though, only one user can write on the main page (the one opening when the user logs in). Does the multiple account feature help in this respect or should I set up a journal and allott usernames and passwords to the ss who want to join in?
Could you just briefly explain what teh multiple account feature is for?
Apologies for my ignorance :-(

Thanks for your reply. This makes things clearer. I guess I could use the main page for input/directions/suggestions to students and devote a separate journal to interaction. So if we had a community of peers involving my students and a group of students from another school, I could sign them up in the separate journal and ask them to interact...
Yes?
