We are horribly sorry for the downtime; we did not anticipate our upgrade script to take 4 hours+ to run. In any case, we have upgraded our systems and everything should now be peachy.

UPDATE: Any problems with logging in should now be resolved. Sorry for the problems.

Sure, if you do it yourself.

So will you folks be working on some better mac os x browser compatability?? When i attempt to change any site settings such as the template, the options do not show up under the menu... only blanks so i cannot tell what colours i am choosing other than the number code.... i bought a subscription but am a bit disappointed that i can\'t use all of the functions!
Comment posted on April 7th, 2004 at 10:26 AM
It\'s something I aware of, but I\'m not quite sure how to \"fix.\" The color schemes page does not use any special scripting; it\'s simply forms. For some reason, any browser on Mac OS X does not render the page, while every other browser renders it correctly (as it should).

I\'m not entirely sure what the problem is, and with no access to a Mac, I\'m not sure how to fix it.

I am currently having difficulties in adjusting colors in my journal.. although I have changed the colors in the CSS, the colors will not appear on the site... and even though I reverted back to the default jounral colors, still it won\'t change back. Any clues on how can I resolve this? Thanks.

You\'re using a custom template; edit the CSS settings on the template itself, not in your CSS files.

OK so my next question is: how come I can\'t add this code for my external stats tracker to my template? I copy and paste it, and it looks fine. But as soon as I click on \"edit template\", it erases a big chunk of my code, rendering it unuseable.

Well somehow it seems to be working now... weird. I\'m not doing anything differently than I was earlier. How\'s that for computers, eh?

I\'ve had enough of this garbage. I\'m switching to this one new journal site I found called Xanga.

um... I posted some entries in Tabulas after April 1st... none of these are showing up... why?
Comment posted on April 6th, 2004 at 01:41 PM
You posted one entry and you set it as friends-only. Are you sure you\'re logged in when you\'re trying to view your own journal?
Comment posted on April 6th, 2004 at 04:50 PM
yes, I am logged in...
there\'s supposed to be one AFTER April 1st right?
\'cause the last one I see is April 1st...

I\'ve been using tabulas for forever now, and all of a sudden I can\'t log in and it says that I have to validate my account or something like that and I tried the resend confirmation button, and that is doing nothing!

Is the \"extended visitor info\" feature working? I\'m a paid subscriber and the only part of the hit logging feature I can use is the basic \"hit counts\" one. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Also I\'ve subscribed to an external stats service but seem unable to insert the code into my template. Whenever I paste it in and click update, parts of it disappear...

Yes, it should be working. Have you enabled \'hit logging\' from your Styles/Prefs page?
Comment posted on April 6th, 2004 at 11:22 AM
Yes, I have done. I can view hit counts, but when I try viewing hit logging or extended visitor info, it tells me I must enable hit logging... even though it already is...
Comment posted on April 6th, 2004 at 02:12 PM
Ok the extended data only grabs NON-tabulas referrers; if no one is referring to you from outside of Tabulas no data will show up. That\'s what I\'m guessing it is...

Hi, I just logged on recently, and decided to change my password. After typing in the old password and new password twice, I clicked OK. Tabulas asks you to login again after any password change, so I did. Unfortunately, now it refuses to log me in... it says I haven\'t confirmed my account yet, but my account has been up since Feb. I looked at my page and it\'s still there. Any ideas how I can get into my account again?

Just try logging in again; I should of fixed the problem.
