Yay! =)

An announcement:

As some of you know, I am currently in the midst of another website project besides Tabulas. This site is Tabulas Gallery on steroids (a lot of steroids) and is being called Tokki Project (although this name will change as soon as the site is brought out of production).

Although the site is still far from being completed, it will rock. In any case, the announcement is this:

- Those of you who purchased a Beta Account on Tabulas will also be issued a "coupon" that will give you a paid Tokki account at 25% of the price; this is a savings of 75%! If you have no use for a gallery system, this coupon is transferrable to anybody as long as your primary Tabulas account remains active!

There will be more news on Tokki over the upcoming weeks; we're setting a public launch date of November 1st for the whole site.

I'm excited about it. BTW, I learned about your site from a post on edubloggers praxis. The blogger asked readers to try it out and let him know how it went. I got back to him and yesterday, he checked out my blog, and posted a blurb and the link since I have posted teacher's writing artifacts in the Gallery http://educational.blogs.com/edbloggerpraxis/ I'm sure you'll get new tabulas users from the group of teachers cuz you offer great features on your paid accounts. Thanks.

There will be free features, yes. But it is not geared to be a free service like Tabulas.

suggestion for tabulas= categories for content, categories for links. not really neccessary...or even that big of a deal. just for when youve absolutely run out of things to do ;)

a journal cannot be set to 'friends-only', but you can set your entries as 'friends-only.'

Hello Tabulas, i am needing your help for something.

I am currently skinning my Journal and i have come across two problems which you may be able to help me with.

1. Where you have your "comments" and "add comments" field, i was wondering if it was possible to make the txt be replaced with an image, at first i was going to just try and replace the

It will be kept open and free for the foreseeable future... the only reason I wouldn't let that happen is if it became financially impossible for me to run this site.

What is going to happen to the accounts that have already been made? Since you haven't officially brought out the news of the tokki project. Are you going to change the rules and then have the accounts that some people may already have become paid accounts? I hope not... I've already uploaded many pictures!

No, we won't force you to upgrade, but we will probably tone down the limits on those accounts; this project in alpha stage was only meant to be tested by a select group.
