We're slowly starting to release the new stuff we've been working on.

Links
We're trying to extend the functionality of our links so that eventually it will serve as your online bookmark center. We've added hierarchial categories that you can use to organize your links.

However, please note that these categories are not yet reflected in your site (e.g. no one will see the categories yet). This is still something we're working on. However, we figure this new feature will be a valuable tool for those who want to start organizing their links quickly.

We've also added better error-catching and link-fixing features (if you put in www.yahoo.com instead of http://www.yahoo.com, our script will detect that and automatically make the proper corrections).

We've also in general cleaned up the way the whole links area looks. Hopefully its a bit cleaner and easier to understand.

Go to your new links control page (accessible from Control Panel » Plug-Ins » Links) and go try them out!

Content Pages
Nothing new was really added here, but we did fix up the way you navigate around; something we're trying to do is make a consistent left-black menu bar show up just like on your main entries page, but for all other features.

So you'll see your recent 4 pages as well as a dropdown to access the Content Pages options.

Your content pages can also optionally opted out of the linebreak to
.

What does this mean? You'll notice that when you type an entry, if you hit enter twice, it'll create two linebreaks. This is because the script interprets this linebreak and converts it to the HTML command for "go to the next line."

This is not favorable when you create a linebreak when writing HTML. So this should fix up some of the HTML problems that have occured with content pages.

You'll also notice something new we're trying out with the content pages. In the main view your content page, you'll notice links at the top of the table. These links, when you click them, will use Javascript to sort the stuff in the tables. This can be useful if you want to quickly organize your content pages by when you last updated them, when you first created them, or alphabetically by title (as they do by default). Hopefully we'll be adding this functionality to some areas that could use some real help (e.g. your entries or gallery perhaps?).

Go to your new content control page (accessible from Control Panel » Plug-Ins » Content Pages) and go try them out!

hhmmm...my content pages doesn\'t seem to appear at my homepage unline other users. people will have to click at the content link at the navigate area of the homepage to access it.

How can I make all the links to my content pages I have made at my homepage?

Hmm, I got this "warning" messages when I categorized some of my links.

Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/virtual/site170/fst/var/www/html/private/links.php on line 218

Anyhoo, this is a very useful feature. Yay to Tabulas. n_n

Apperantly I have deleted something, and I dont know what it was. When ever a new page loads in my control panel and error message pops up "Handler could not be removed". It's driving me crazy, I am sure it' something I did. I have no clue how to fix it!!!

even thought this has nothin to do with what you're talkin about, i thought i might put this up here. i have a suggestion for the Shared Journal section. you could have A-Z and # and other letters somewhere, so you can find a journal faster, or when a shared journal is created, you could have it put in a category, such as music, then sub-categories, such as pop, rock, metal, punk, etc.. but of course, that might be a big job. just a suggestion though. ^_^

Is there any plan to make it so that pictures already in a gallery album can be "reordered" (besides this reset indices method). i tried to reorganize them and it put half my pictures back into the no album, but kept showing them in both (no album and the album). so when i deleted the ones in the no album, the ones in the album were deleted. very frustrating.

You're using the wrong feature; reset indices is not the feature you want.

When you're in an album, select all to edit; you'll notice in the top right there's an input box with numbers. Set the order with those numbers (e.g. first number 1, second number 2). You can use any decimal or integer; it will simply sort those images numerically.

I'm not sure how you're getting the images into no albums from albums; my guess is you're somehow accidentally setting the album to 'no album.'

I am having an error on my pages with blog entries where an additional 200 or so pixels of space are are appearing to the right of the entry.

(Between the entry and the tagboard)

I do not have this error on pages of my Tabulas that DO NOT have entry based content on them. Is there a way to remove this additional wasted space? Go to my Tabulas for a look at what I mean.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/virtual/site170/fst/var/www/html/private/links.php on line 204

anyway just worth mentioning...

besides that.. tabulas keeps getting better and better! goodluck and job well done!

uh, about my question, it holds still. I've tried ticking the shared journal, but it still ends up one in my journal and a copy of it on the shared journal... help please?

If you only want to post it to a shared journal, select the proper "Community Posting" option under the privacy settings.

2 questions - one about the time displays and one about my username.

first, the date and time on my tagboard sometimes displays 0 hours from GMT even though on my preferences, i've already set it for -8 hours GMT. same thing with managing my comments. is there a way to set times uniformly across the board?

second, can you still change my username to "niftyyoshi"? i contacted you last month about this, but it was never done. if you remember, i tried signing up for an account under "niftyyoshi", but i misspelled my email address, and couldn't verify. that account was never activated.

thanks for your help! happy holidays and happy new year!

The time settings are set uniformly. If by "sometimes" you mean when you're not logged in, then yes, it will display 0 GMT by default.

When you set your time settings, all times on the site adjust to your settings.

So simply log-in and the times will adjust to your time zone.

Secondly, use the built-in username changer to change your username. If it won't let you (since you registered it), then you're going to have to wait until the niftyyoshi account is reclaimed (and thus the username is released back into the pool).
